Destiny Moon Dead Ghost Locations Guide

Dead Ghosts. Their locations are well hidden and in this guide we place them in a specific order that will be the easiest path for you to collect them all.

Dead Ghosts no. 1-6 can be found in central and eastern part, while no. 7-9 are in Hellmouth – western part of the Moon. Once you collect dead ghosts 1-6, take the mission “Shrine of Oryx“. This mission will guide you towards the last dead ghost in this guide. Since it’s located deep down in the Hellsmouth, it is far easier to follow this mission. In the table below you will find short descriptions and screenshots of all Dead Ghost locations.

#1	Sub Area – Archer’s Line	Ghost Fragment – Hive Close to the Moon landing point. Mission “The Dark Beyond” can be done in this area.
Once you land on Moon, go up the hill, then turn left. Jump up onto metal boxes to reach location where the ghost is hidden.
#2	Sub Area – Archer’s Line	Ghost Fragment – Moon Close to the dome on your way to the last part of mission “The Dark Beyond”.
Instead of going left as we did for the previous location, this time turn right. Next to a damaged dome that leads to the Temple of Crota, jump onto a rock platform shown on the screenshot.
#3	Sub Area – Hall of Wisdom	Ghost Fragment – Dead Orbit Mission “The World’s Grave” takes you to this area.
Go back to the dome now. Go through the entrance. When you pass through the illuminated part of the cave turn left. Follow red arrows path toward the dead ghost location.
#4	Sub Area – Circle of Bones	Ghost Fragment – Saturn Mission “The World’s Grave” continues here.
Go deeper inside cave. This entrance is just next to the previous dead ghost location. Once you find yourself in Circle of Bones keep going left. Jump on this fence in order to be able to reach a hidden path on your left. Hidden path leads to the dead ghost.
#5	Sub Area – Anchor of Light	Ghost Fragment – The Ocean of Storms Inside the last part of the mission “The Dark Beyond”.
We are back to the dome now. Head east from it and follow a path. Path leads to this “mushroom” looking building. Turn left here. Enter this construction. Jump onto metal bars in order to reach the dead ghost.
#6	Sub Area – Temple of Crota	Ghost Fragment – Warlock 2 Mission “Chamber of Night” finishes here.
Go back to the mushroom-like building. Last time we turned left here, now we go to the right. Follow a hidden path that starts here. Enter the Temple of Crota, reach the lower section and follow a path that leads you downstairs to your right. Once you find this area in the lowest section of the Temple follow this climbing path. It leads directly to the Dead Ghost.
#7	Sub Area – The Hellmouth	Ghost Fragment – Darkness 2 If you follow this guide step by step, this is the moment when you’ll return to the first Dead Ghost location. You can complete “The Sword of Crota” mission in this area.
Next to the first Dead Ghost we’ve revived, follow this hidden path. This path leads to the Hellmouth. Turn right and find a hidden area with two large antennas. Enter this building. Dead Ghost is located on a computer.
#8	Sub Area – The Gatehouse	Ghost Fragment – Mercury Mission “The Sword of Crota” takes place here.
In the Hellmouth… …find this entrance. Soon enough you’ll end up here. Turn left when you reach the edge. Look down, there is a dead ghost.
#9	Sub Area – Shrine of Oryx	Ghost Fragment – The Traveler Mission “Shrine of Oryx” takes place in this area.
This ghost is located inside the same building, where we revived the previous one. Path that leads towards the last ghost is pretty long. Keep following this path. Once you spot this entrance you’ll know you are on the right track. The final room before you reach the collectible. Dead ghost is on the ground, in the corner.
